The old corn mill, which ground the town's flour from the mid-1600's, is a detached stone building located adjacent to the mill lade and faces on to Millburn Street, formerly the main access road in and out of Kirkcudbright. The recent conversion of this 'B' listed building retains its traditional charm while incorporating all modern comforts. It is fully double-glazed and insulated, and has gas central heating throughout.

The accommodation for up to 6 guests comprises of a well-fitted dining-kitchen, a spacious sitting room with French windows leading onto the south-facing garden with patio and decking, which is ideal for enjoying the sunshine all day.

There are 2 double bedrooms, one benefiting from the privacy of an en-suite shower room , 1 twin-bedded room and a family bathroom. There is a downstairs W.C. where wet boots and shoes can be stored and dried.
